Solid trip form South Lake Tahoe

Opening day at Mammoth was Nov 8. Steez had to make the trip to be there to cut some new turns and a new beginning to what will hopefully be an epic new season. Fresh off of surgery and stoked to be strapping in again, myself and a friend, Noah, hit the road before dawn to make it to Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort on time for a whole day of riding. The runs  where groomed and solid, really solid, but with a little bit of crafty riding powder turns were to be had. Everyone in attendance was absolutely stoked on the first day of the season and plenty of pass holders were scratching the itch and checking off day 1. The bar at the end of the day was loaded and the live band was an excellent touch to a good time. On top of all that we hit up the Rome SDS guys out infront of P3 rideshop for some free beer and hot dogs, thanx fellas. To finish off the trip we hit the dusty road to nowhere and once we got there we camped out for the night, shenanigans in sued,  and were greeted by a blue bird morning the next day. All in all Steez Gear spread the word of wool all over Mammoth, and even handed out some Steez stickers to like minded riders. Roadtrip #1 check.
